It feels like we’ve reached the end of the world. Miles of turquoise lagoons, painted mountains, snowy peaks, and dense forests, all visible while riding horses. Pure bliss, exploring this paradise accompanied by the rhythmic jingle of your bay horse’s bridle – your trusty companion for the journey.

Rest in historic spots like La Nana outpost, right across from the ranch once home to Patagonia’s fugitive, Jimmy Radboone, who found his haven in this idyllic location. Spend nights at the grand Estancia El Cóndor, overlooking Lake San Martín.

Thank you, Perito Moreno, for defending our Patagonia! After hours on horseback, we finally reach the Argentinean-Chilean border marker at Martínez de Rozas – a no-man’s land ruled only by condors.

After four days of riding, we trade our chaps for trekking poles and boots. Fitz Roy calls us, and we answer, setting out to chase its peaks, magical as they reveal themselves through the clouds.

This part of the journey begins on the trail to Laguna Torre. Its iconic spires greet us from across the lagoon and its floating icebergs.

The next day, we head toward Cagliero Glacier, following the powerful river rushing alongside us. Vibrant green and blue lagoons come into view, along with the northern face of Fitz Roy, which we’ll see even closer the following day.

Laguna de los Tres isn’t your typical day trek. We’re spicing it up. We camp at Poincenot, at the base of Fitz Roy, to soak in the views at night and wake up early to watch its peaks bathed in the golden light of dawn – a monument all to ourselves.

We return via Laguna Capri, and if the weather allows, we’ll take a refreshing dip while bidding farewell to Fitz Roy.

And with that, it’s goodbye, until next time.

An adventure of a lifetime!

It’s autumn, and the trees are starting to change colour. We’ll explore the magic of Fitz Roy’s peaks as they shyly reveal themselves through the clouds.

Winter is setting in, but up north, the warm sun still welcomes us with open arms. If you’re looking for a journey where the scenery changes like acts in a play, this adventure is your stage.

We set out from Tilcara to Casa Colorada, passing beyond the Garganta del Diablo and El Alfarcito. Pampa Laguna, Yuto Pampa, Huayra Huasi’s lush greenery, Molulo, San Lucas, Peña Alta – these are just a few of the places we’ll traverse.

anyons, razor-sharp ridges, roaring rivers, plateaus, and tropical forests. Rolling reds and greens, jungle landscapes, Inca trails, and remote villages. From the arid beauty of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, we descend into the lush Yungas rainforest of Calilegua.

Lo mira desde abajo hace tiempo. Quiere hacer cumbre.

The journey starts in forests of lenga, araucaria, and ñire trees. But soon enough, rocky terrain takes over. Step by step, we focus on the climb – but don’t forget to look around! This majestic landscape demands attention.

We press on, soaking it all in. And then, we’re there.

That snowy peak that’s been calling you is now under your feet. You’re standing on it now, touching the sky.
